A-Mooseing Birthday – MFT Stamps

Hey friends! It’s the last day of spotlights from the November MFT Stamps release. I truly hope you’ve enjoyed all of the inspiration. Today’s card was a last minute pivot. I made a different card with the Merry Moose stamp and die-namics, but I really hated it. I liked the idea of it, but wasn’t feeling the final outcome. So I threw that card in my donate pile and started over. This card I actually really like. I think it’s a great masculine or unisex card.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Spray a panel of distress watercolor paper with shiny bauble, snow flurries, and juniper berry distress spray stains. Set aside to let the panel dry. I love the sparkle that is hard to capture in person.
  2. Once the panel is dry, trim a snow slope and ink blend a little blue ink at the top, and adhere to the bottom part of the panel.
  3. Die cut the panel with the Wish Big Today Die-namics. Due to the extra layers, I had to run it through a couple times to get it to fully cut.
  4. Stamp and white heat emboss the Snowflake Flurry Background on embossable acetate. Attach the acetate behind the die cut panel.
  5. Adhere that on top of a piece of Sno Cone cardstock, then to an A2 card base.
  6. Stamp and copic color one moose from Merry Moose and die cut it out. Die cut a few more layers.
  7. Stamp a sentiment with dark gray ink on light gray cardstock.
  8. Adhere the sentiment strip and image to the card front.
  9. Add faux splatter using a paint pen.

I love this silly moose tumbling down the mountain. This is what I look like when I’m on my snowboard, ha. I appreciate you joining me this week! If you have any questions about anything, please reach out. Have a great weekend!
